The Art of War II

The Emperor entrusted the army to Sun-Tzu, who bravely defended the kingdom until defeating the enemy.
When Sun-Tzu had won the war, the Emperor of Wu, became despot and cruel, tyrannical and abusive.
Sun-Tzu did not want to work for somebody like this, but to despise the Emperor condemned him to an almost certain death, so that one night, leaving behind all the riches that the Emperor had granted to him, it left with stealth heading east. The few who came to see him said that he wore no cloak, no sword, not even his boots, since he was barefoot.
When asked that after so many battles, what he had won, he answered "my freedom", rode on into the dark night and never saw him again. (The Art of War)
