Actually Christopher Columbus discovered America?

Before captained by Christopher Columbus fleet put to sea, the Catholic Monarchs offered a pension and a prize of 10,000 maravedis the first man who sighted land.

Almost three months later and about to face a rebellion, Columbus added to one Silk Vest prize. His sailors had long without seeing land and were afraid to sail into the unknown. They had demanded immediate return to Spain but Columbus asked one week later and it was granted.
The morning of October 12, 1492 the sailor Rodrigo de Triana was stationed in the Watchtower when he sighted land. The cry of land in sight made his companions took of happiness, as soon dropped from the tower, they carried on shoulders and kissed his hands, hugged her breasts and swore eternal gratitude.

Columbus noted in the logbook that the first sight of land was Rodrigo de Triana.
Back in Spain, the sailor claimed the prize, but had been granted to Christopher Columbus, who told the Spanish monarchs have been he who first sighted the coast. De Triana, which was not very ambitious said then settle with Vest, but even that was given. Disenchanted, renounced the Christian faith, he converted to Islam and died in obscurity in no man's land north of the African continent, while Columbus enjoyed the prize and is remembered as the discoverer of America.
But the name of the newly discovered continent, America has little to do with Columbus.
He died without knowing he had discovered unknown land. Was the Italian Amerigo Vespucci who skirting of the continent realized it was a whole new world, Al publish cartography, maps Américo signed his name without giving credit to Columbus. The continent was called America in his honor and Christopher Columbus did not even notice it.
But the champion of stolen honors perhaps the Serbian inventor Nicola Tesla. Many attributed to Thomas Alva Edison inventions were actually made by Tesla, while working for him. When finished an invention Tesla, Edison gave him a couple of pats on the back and was checking the invention to the patent office ... his name.
Similarly, all the work of Guillermo Marconi and radio waves, were based on a patent of Tesla, but when Marconi made the first transmission across the English Channel and became fame and fortune, the name of Tesla remained anonymous. Patent AC system we use today, was snatched by the company Tesla White Westinghouse while working for her.
Apparently Tesla had the misfortune of working for bosses fly. To understand what a fly head must mention a Spanish stock fable. An ox pulls the plow all day. Near the end of a fly comes and stands in the back of the ox, as soon concludes the task, the fly flies into the woods and presumed to have plowed the earth. And when the ox out / had the job done / plow fly / very plump and contented said.

Bill Gates copied the "Doors" system invented by Steve Jobs and was the basis for his hit "Windows" operating system. Steve Jobs was the charismatic founder of Apple, globally celebrated and revered by a generation of users of technology products, but the real genius of circuits in Apple was Steve Wozniak
Statistics say that 20% of staff will work while the remaining 80% will differ from its obligations or do nothing things. Ie if at school they commissioned a team and the team is formed by 5 students. Only one work while the other 4 play Xbox, mensajean by phone or surf the internet. At the end of the grade will be the same for all team members have worked or not.

At work weaves an intricate network of contacts and intricate systems echelons, and it is very common for bosses or colleagues attributed tasks that have not done them without giving credit to the real perpetrators.
Life is not fair and not always give honor to whom honor is due. Whether you have a boss or a colleague fly fly, do not let anyone take away credit you belong. If necessary up to the highest lookout tower, and shout with all your strength "Land ahoy" you cry resound in our ears 5oo years after being launched.
